A couple weeks ago the Deans went on a trip to Bodega Bay. We did a small hike (about 2 miles), and Esther hiked most of it all by herself.
Next, we went to visit Fort Ross, an old Russian fort on the Northern California coast. Esther was a bit scared on the Ruskies--here she is in full retreat.

Awesome running Esther -- You are FAST!!!
the previous comment was from grandma dean
Just so you know.... I have watched this about twenty times. It is so perfect how she stops and waits to patiently, blinking and squinting.
Me too! The noises as she runs are so cute and the end as she stops at attention with her feet exactly together and squints up waiting for her next assignment. TOO CUTE!
Is it possible to wear out a video!?
Hello
I was looking through the google pages because I have a new blog called 'Esther in the Garden'.
Google directed me to your posting (from ages ago) about naming your tomato plants.
It turns out you aren't a gardening blog after all . . . none the less . . . hello!
